Durability....when we're at the beach, we want great looking tableware that will last. These plates are designed to be piled high on trays by busboys and likely dumped in a sink, then subjected to corrosive detergents and extremely high water temperatures in commercial dishwashers four or five times a day!

The pieces are amazingly strong and chip resistant; aluminum oxide (ALOX) is added to the porcelain formatting which produces a much stronger piece and more vibrant color. And, the plates retain heat longer as well.

Temperature resistant! They can go from freezer to oven and will not crack. They are oven proof, microwave proof/safe and love the dishwasher! Most earthenware absorbs 8-13% water..ours has 0% absorption and so will not crack with temperature extremes. Our designs are decals that are fired on at 2000 degree temperatures making them completely permanent.

Our line can withstand this type of punishment and retain its beauty as well as its durability.
