When you buy furniture from Cottage & Bungalow, how does it get to me?  Who does the delivery?  When will it arrive? How is the furniture protected?  Is assembly included if needed?  What happens if a piece is damaged?  Read on to get answers to these questions and more!

Here are some frequently asked questions and answers about shipping your furniture:

Who does the delivery?  Cottage & Bungalow uses select carriers that are skilled in white glove delivery.  We evaluate the carriers we partner with based on their quality of delivery, level of customer service to our customers, damage rate, etc.  We have strong relationships with our carriers and because of that, we are constantly providing feedback and evaluating partners based on what is best for you, our valued customer.

What is white glove delivery?  White glove delivery is a premium service that goes beyond standard delivery methods and provides a higher level of service.  It translates to handling and transporting your furniture with extreme care.  It also includes placing your furniture in the room of choice, assembly if required and removing packaging materials.

How quickly will it get to me? After production is completed, shipping of furniture typically takes 4-6 weeks. Cottage & Bungalow serves as a liaison to ensure your beautiful furniture gets to you. It is important to note that while we will do everything in our control to get your piece to you in a timely manner, once a piece leaves our manufacturer's facility, the remaining shipping time is beyond our control.

How is the furniture protected?  White glove delivery specialists will either carefully blanket wrap and secure your furniture on a truck or your furniture will be carefully boxed for shipping.

Does the delivery team assemble the piece? Yes, if your furniture requires assembly, the delivery team will assemble your furniture in your room of choice.

What do I need to make sure to do when I receive my furniture?  When you receive your furniture, you need to inspect it to ensure there is no damage.

What happens if my furniture is damaged?  In our experience, damage occurs in less than 2% of deliveries.  On the off chance that there is any damage, please send it back with the driver.  If the damage occurred in transit, the carrier reserves the right to repair it back to factory standards.  All damages must be reported to Cottage & Bungalow within three days - we are able to assist with repair or replacement if the furniture has been thoroughly inspected and documented with notes and photos.

What if this is my second home or I am traveling for an extended period of time?  When you place your order, please let the Cottage & Bungalow team know if you have any delivery restrictions or requests.

Can I have furniture shipped to Hawaii, Alaska or Canada?  Yes, depending on your location.  Reach out to Cottage & Bungalow for a custom shipping quote based on your delivery address.

Can I arrange my own shipping?  It is possible for you to arrange your own shipping.  Reach out to Cottage & Bungalow to discuss the details.
