While the Swedish Cottage Bed offers a simple silhouette that blends harmoniously into your decor and has plenty of charming, subtle details as well. The chiseled legs are tapered on four sides, narrowing towards the bottom, and feature a turned section that provides a tasteful flare of classic design. There's plenty of texture to love in this elegant bed from the beautiful floral insets to the delicate, detailed beading along the edge of the foot board to ornate knobs crowning the edge of the headboard. Hardwood frame construction handcrafted in North America. Made from Alderwood sustainably-sourced in the USA. Grain patterns, knots, and color variations give each piece a unique charm. Traditional woodworking techniques like: mortise-and-tenon jointing. Satin-luster finishes with multi-layered hand lacquering and antiquing process. Distress markings artistically mimic everyday wear, closely representing antique pieces. Comes standard with muslin fabric or we can use your supplied materials. A box spring and mattress is recommended for all sizes.
